SHAH ALAM, 23 May: The Member of Parliament for Shah Alam, Khalid Abdul Samad, confirmed today that his cellphone was hacked by irresponsible parties believed to be for the purpose of tarnishing his image as a Member of Parliament, PAS and Pakatan Rakyat (PR) in general.

“It is true, my phone was hacked. Now I am at the police station to make a report,” he told Selangor Kini.

Selangor Kini will try to obtain more information from Khalid as soon as he finished making the police report.

Prior to this, Selangor Kini received information that Khalid’s cellphone was hacked by certain people, by sending a message that sounds like ‘Malay’s are stupid’ to certain individuals.

It is not the first time such acts of sabotage have happened. It happened during the Kajang State Assembly by-election where over six Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) leaders’ phones were hacked.

However, this move has no impact on the people as the people can now obtain information by surfing the internet and finding out about the real situation.
