SHAH ALAM, 4 June: Malaysia Airlines experienced another accident yesterday when one of the B737-800 aircraft was hit by a luggage vehicle when it was parked.
Malaysiakini reported that the incident which took place at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport showed the fuselage part of the aircraft ripped.
Confirming the incident, MAS said that the airport’s baggage vehicle hit the aircraft fuselage, causing damage.
In a statement, MAS said that the cause of the incident is being investigated and the driver has been temporarily suspended.
According to the statement, passengers were transferred to another aircraft.
Another B737-800 aircraft was used for the next flight and took off on schedule.
Last month, a MAS aircraft was hit by a airport car, a Perodua Viva, while it was parked in KLIA.
