SHAH ALAM, 17 July: Politics lecturer, Assoc Prof Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff, advised those aspiring to be Chief Minister of Selangor by ousting Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim to be calmer and resolve the crisis peacefully.
Agus said that the hurry to do so is only disadvantageous and it is possible that the position they desire may fall to the opposition.
“Properly solve this CM crisis first. Do not be impatient. Otherwise, the current CM (Abdul Khalid) would advise the Sultan to dissolve the DUN, and then everything will be a mess.
“If His Royal Highness agrees to dissolve the DUN, after that the one who will become CM may not be Wan Azizah or Azmin, but Noh Omar.
“In politics, anything is possible,” he said in an entry titles ‘Who is Selangor CM?’ on his Facebook account.
Previously, banners with the words “Congratulations Azmin is the New CM” were widely spread on social media.
The banner with the PKR Youth (AMK) logo on it was believed to have been put up in several places from the Sentul intersection to Gombak.
