SHAH ALAM, 26 JULAI: The Pas President who insists that Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim stays as Selangor Chief Minister was well received by him.
Abdul Khalid in a status on his official Facebook account said, the support provided by Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang is very meaningful to Selangor.
“I would like to thank Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang for giving support and trust to continue to soldier on with the Selangor Government till the end of this term.
“This support is very meaningful to Selangor as a progressive state requires a stable political atmosphere.
“Myself and the team of Exco will make sure the 13th General Election Slogan of ‘Continue to Excel’ will be shown in the form of execution and action,” he said.
The status with the thank you statement by Abdul Khalid managed to garner as many as 12,000 likes among facebook users and the number keeps growing within less than four hours.
The same status also received as many as 1,000 comments which majority feels relief by Abdul Hadi’s stand.
A Facebook user Khairi Khalid said, “The best Chief Minister Selangor ever had” while Izara Raffaley said “I am a Selangorian supporting Tan Sri. As a student, I have benefited a lot due to Tan Sri’s efforts.”
A.n Ihsan wrote “we need more politician like him” and Mohd Hasli Alias said “yesss!! We the people of Selangor do not bother about political views but wants Tan Sri Khalid to continue administrating Selangor”. There were also many other positive comments given by others.
Yesterday, Abdul Hadi told Bernama, he supports Abdul Khalid to stay as Selangor’s Chief Minister.
