SHAH ALAM, 30 AUGUST: Selangor PAS hand over the final say for PAS Central to decide on the candidate for Chief Minister of Selangor.
Deputy Chief I of Selangor PAS, Sallehan Mukhyi told it was hand over to the PAS Central committee for the final decision when asked about the issue.
“Selangor PAS will pass it to the PAS Central committee to decide regarding the chief minister issue.”
“We shall wait for the announcement,” said the Sabak assemblyman who is also the state government EXCO during a Merdeka Talk programme at University of Selangor (UNISEL), reported by Harakah Daily.
Before, the Selangor Palace sent official letters to PKR President, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, PAS President, Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang and DAP Secretary General, Lim Guan Eng regarding the nomination for the new chief minister.
The letter requested all parties in Pakatan Rakyat which comprised of PAS, PKR and DAP to submit more than two names as candidates for the Chief Minister to replace Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, before the 3rd of September.
