“When he fell, he was still alive…but when the ambulance, they confirmed that he had died,” she told Selangor Kini.

She told this story in tears when recalling the incident.

She said that her son will only be with his brother when playing outside their home.

“He will not go out if his older brother is not home. Only when his brother comes home from school he will play outside together.

“Before going out to play that day, I asked him to eat. After eating, he washed his hands and went out.

“Five minutes after that, his brother said that his little brother had fallen,” she said, mentioning that Zul Hazriq was a quiet boy and it was previously hard to ask him to eat.

Meanwhile, the Exco for Health, Welfare, Women’s Affairs and Family, Dr Daroyah Alwi, said that she visited Sahura’s house to check on her and her family’s situation after the sad incident that happened.

“We went to check on the development on whether it had been repaired and so on. Through the group of officers, we will continue to monitor the situation.

“If there is need for our help, God willing, we will help in what is needed,” she said.

She said that parents have been asked to monitor their children when playing at any area because the condition of the flat is rather risky.

“In terms of building supervision, we hope that it will be supervised more efficiently and periodically. This is due to the many damages that have happened such as elevators, iron grills and so on.

“It needs to be addressed in order to prevent the same thing from happening again,” she said.
