SHAH ALAM, 23 Mar: The implementation for the revision of the new fare for taxis will be continued, said the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Nancy Shukri.
She announced this in a short statement published on the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) website.
The revision of the new fare for bus express and rail services have however been postponed to a later date.
“Referring to the decision of the Cabinet on March 20, 2015, it is informed that the implementation of the new fare revision for bus express and rail services have been postponed to a date yet to be determined.
“Meanwhile, the new fares for taxis which took effect immediately as announced on March 19 will continue to be implemented,” said Nancy.
