PENANTI, 24 Apr: “Not young but strong spirit. Alhamdulillah…”. This was the reaction of the PKR Deputy President, giving a sign on who the candidate will be when it is announced tonight.
Mohamed Azmin said this when asked about the PKR candidate who will be competing with a young candidate from Barisan Nasional (BN).
Commenting on the BN candidate, Shuaimi Sabudin, Mohamed Azmin thinks that BN does not have the best candidate.
“It is their (BN’s) candidate. That’s all there is now.
“Young, energetic and has a youthful spirit. Young would not be based on age, there are people who are young but cowardly,” he teased.
He said that it would be better if young people dare to oppose injustice, corruption and tyranny.
“Be young but with principles. Be brave to fight corruption, tyranny and injustice,” he told Selangor Kini.
PKR will announce its candidate at the Seberang Perai Arena tonight.
Previous rumours say that the PKR President, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, will return to compete for the Permatang Pauh Parliamentary seat.
