KUALA LUMPUR, 27 May: The Blue Ocean strategy practiced by the Home Affairs Ministry and the Ministry of Defence is being disputed due to the trespassing of the border with the discovery of the graves in Padang Besar, Perlis.
Datuk Mahfuz Omar (PAS-Pokok Sena) said that the discovery has tarnished Malaysia’s image because it shows that the lax in the country’s border controls as it involves the issue of human trafficking.
“Before both the ministries talk about implementing the Blue Ocean strategy, a strategy between two teams responsible for national defence and security.
“Suddenly our borders are encroached and entry of migrants happen, as well as human trafficking, finally torture resulting in death,” he told Selangor Kini.
According to him, the (border) security should be more responsible in the case, without the need to point fingers at others.
“It is a shame when they point fingers at each other because it involves border encroachment and how they could come when it is being guarded by the police or the military,” he added.
