SHAH ALAM, 29 May: The National Information Monitoring and Disclosure Centre (NOW) has collected RM10,000 for the ‘Close 1MDB’ campaign which started eight days ago.
The PKR Vice President, Rafizi Ramli, said that about 1,000 people have already responded to the campaign, by contributing RM10 each, and only require some more funds.
He said that this is to file legal action and conduct a survey to determine the attitude of the people towards 1MDB.
“Thank God, after a week, the collection from the #tutup1MDB #kembalikanwangrakyat managed to surpass RM10,000.
“God-willing, the suit will be filed next week and lawyers and preparing the three summons. If you have not donated, it is still not too late,” he said on Facebook today.
On May 21, NOW asked the public to donate RM10 for the success of the campaign.
