SHAH ALAM, 31 May: The state government will accelerate the development process of the Langat 2 project as previously planned, said the Exco for Infrastructure, Public Amenities, Agricultural Modernisation and Agro-Based Industries, Zaidy Abdul Talib.
Zaidy said that the matter received the attention of the state government and planning will be carried out in the near future.
“We do indeed want to speed up the project for the benefit of all parties. We hope that it will be carried out on schedule,” he said today.
He said that the state government also saw positive development in the planning of the water industry restructuring and is confident that the matter can be resolved in a short period of time.
“We will try our best to complete Langat 2 between 2017 to 2019 and it will be able to supply treated water to the people better,” he said.
