DAP, PAS and PKR support Azmin to remain as CM

SHAH ALAM, 27 June: Pakatan, led by three parties, will continue to stand firmly behind the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali.

The Exco for Tourism, Consumer Affairs and Environment, Elizabeth Wong, said this when commenting on the readiness of the former Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, to assume the position again.

“In my opinion, the three parties (DAP, PAS and PKR) support Mohamed Azmin. This is the resolution and the majority of the State Legislative Assembly as a majority.

“There is no difference in the decision as depicted,” she said after opening the No Polystyrene and cooking oil recycling campaign at the Ramadan Bazaar at Kota Damansara yesterday.

She stressed that the Selangor Pakatan leaders always support Azmin.

She said that if Abdul Khalid intends to assume the position of the Chief Minister, he needs to first get the majority support.

“Their number is not enough, if he wants to do that.

“We (Pakatan) 101 percent support Azmin’s leadership in leading Selangor. He will remain as the Chief Minister. The decision will not change…Full stop,” she said.

Also present was the Mayor of the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ), Mohd Azizi Mohd Zaini, who also visited the Ramadan bazaar for about an hour.
