The Tabung Haji Chief Executive and Group Managing Director, Tan Sri Ismee Ismail, said that through the course, pilgrims have the opportunity to enhance their understanding regarding the pilgrimage through the practical training held.

“Hopefully, pilgrims have the opportunity during the course to perform all activities under the guidance of the Pengkursus Haji.

“Tabung Haji has carried out several other courses such as the Basic Course, Intensive Course and special courses for senior citizens and pilgrims chosen at the last minute,” he said.

He also reminded the people to prepare, both physically and mentally, in addition to hoping that they are patient in facing any difficulty as the expansion project of Masjidil Haram is being carried out by the Saudi Arabia government.

The Closing Ceremony of the Haji Premier Course, Haji 1436H, for Selangor was performed by the Tengku Panglima Diraja Selangor, Tengku Sulaiman Shah, as the representative of the Sultan of Selangor.

A total of 3,500 people selected from Selangor will perform the Hajj this year.

The first flight is expected to depart on August 16.
