MBI helps Jamiul Hasanat Tahfiz Institute

SHAH ALAM, 12 Aug: The effort to contribute to the reconstruction of the Jamiul Hasanat Tahfiz Institute has been deemed as an essential obligation of Menteri Besar Incorporated’s (MBI) corporate social responsibility.

The Head of MBI’s Social Corporate Responsibility Department, Mohd Jaafar Farudin Md Ali, said that the first visit to the institute in Tanjung Karang will be carried out on August 14.

He said that the visit is important to identify the type and form of assistance that can be channeled to the management of the institute.

“We will first examine the form of assistance and contribution that is important for them to repair or rebuild the institution.

“Perhaps we will also engage the INPENS International College in the aid mission this time, involving skills such as wiring.

“We will look at everything during the first visit,” he told Selangor Kini.

On August 8, the Jamiul Hasanat Tahfiz Institute was almost completely destroyed in a fire.

However, the fire involving the two-storey building did not cause any injuries or loss of life.

In the meantime, students are being placed at the Darul Huda Hall adjacent to the site of the fire while the classes are at a nearby location.

On August 11, the Principal of the Jamiul Hasanat Tahfiz Institute, Mohd Judi Sarjo, said that they need to raise at least RM1.5 million to rebuild the institute.

Those who wish to contribute may channel funds to the Jamiul Hasanat Institute account in Bank Islam at 12083010011313 or contact Mohd Judi at 0192459009 or Mat Hasbollah Sudin (0133707271).
