KNOWN as the Chief Minister who is always ‘hands on’, Mohamed Azmin Ali admitted that he carries that character to each Selangor State Assembly (DNS) session.
The DNS Speaker, Hannah Yeoh, said that the Bukit Antarabangsa Assemblyman always asks the respective parties to check whether the question raised by the representative has been answered of not.
“This is very good for Assemblyman because they can interact and receive feedback directly from the Chief Minister.
“In addition, he will also personally look at the answers provided by agencies. I see the answer on his desk and he will review all the questions before getting up to answer,” she said.
Hannah said that Mohamed Azmin is also smart in making full use of his experience as a representative of the people to better understand the needs and wants of other Assemblymen.
“I think that his political secretary also provides a plus point to the Chief Minister to help him better understand Assemblymen’s problems.
“He is also young and dynamic, in line with the image of a modern state which has a lot of young people,” she said.
