CM: Pakatan Harapan will not affect Selangor

SHAH ALAM, 22 Sept: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that the formation of Pakatan Harapan has nothing to do with the administration of Selangor.

Mohamed Azmin said that the formation of the coalition involving PKR, DAP and Parti Amanah Negara (AMANAH) only involves political planning for the 14th general election (GE14).

“Discussions for the establishment of this new opposition coalition is a future plan for the preparation for the next election.

“Discussions are still ongoing, still open for PAS to join. The door is still open,” he told reporters after officiating the launch of the Selangorku Wifi.

Mohamed Azmin, who is also the PKR Deputy President, said that the state government administration remains and there is no Exco reshuffling being carried out.

“There is no connection with the positions in the Selangor state government.

“This is the plan of political parties to see how we can deal with current challenges,” he added.
