SHAH ALAM, 30 June: Selangor Kini, the Selangor government’s official newspaper, received a certification from the Kuala Langat District Council (MDKL) for commitment in various issues in the district.
The award was given to Senior Journalist, Naeem Raffi, and Broadcasting Journalist, Ahmad Nahar Sulaiman, who each received certificates and hampers.
It is the third award that Selangor Kini has received this year.
“Thanks to MDKL for appreciating my articles and work. I will continue to write for the public,” he said.
Previously, Naeem Faffi, through the “Tasik Sri Aman Illegal Waste Disposal” special report qualified him to win the Best Complaints and Problems Coverage Award 2014 during the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) Media Appreciation Ceremony.
Meanwhile, TVSelangorku received the New Media Award for the internet tv category during the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Appreciation Ceremony.
TVSelangorku also won another award from MBPJ through the Apa Khabar Selangor (AKS) segment by the late DJ Mansor who explored various issues.
The Selangor Kini Acting Chief Photographer, Muhammad Asri Sapfie, won the Photography Appreciation Award at the same ceremony.
