PAS: Continue efforts to strengthen the Selangor Pakatan Rakyat

SHAH ALAM, 14 June: The efforts to defend the people under the leadership of the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, should be continued so that the Pakatan Rakyat government stays strong for the welfare and the future of the people.

The Selangor PAS Commissioner, Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad, said that the meeting with the PAS Assemblymen from Selangor today called for efforts to be enhanced to strengthen cooperation in Pakatan Rakyat.

He said that this is in line with the PAS President’s keynote address at the 61st PAS Annual Conference where he wanted PAS to remain committed to Pakatan Rakyat.

“The people can enjoy a better quality of life through policies with Pakatan Rakyat that emphasises on transparency, fighting corruption, fair economic opportunities, affordable housing and other new policies.

“Hopefully, Pakatan Rakyat’s excellence in Selangor will become an example and a stimulus to the people to make the decision to end the arrogance of Barisan Nasional,” said the PAS Vice President.

Iskandar said that during a meeting in Shah Alam, the PAS Assemblymen agreed that all parties should strive to restore relations within Pakatan.

“Although there are many challenges, but we are confident that the three parties will be able to deal with any problems that arise with wisdom through negotiations,” he said in a statement taken from Harakah Daily.

The state PAS also said that he urged all relations at the grassroots to be forged and strengthened.
