CM: Selangor-Kelantan governments complementary

SHAH ALAM, 15 May: The Chief Minister of Selangor, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that the relationship between the Selangor and Kelantan governments are complementary.

Hoping that the relationship will be close, he said that there is no competition in the cooperation between the two states, instead they are helping each other.

“If we ca help, we will help. Not to compete, but to complement each other,” he said.

He said this during a meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister of Kelantan, Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah, who led the Kelantan delegation.

The one hour and 20 minute meeting took place at the State Operations Room on the 22nd Floor of the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Building.

Among what was discussed if the housing assistance for flood victims, the construction of affordable housing and land management.

It is understood that a key handing over ceremony to flood victims is ready to be held before the Ramadan.

Also touched on was the aspect of the Selangor government’s sand management following the overwhelming success of revenue collection and loan schemes available for the people.
