SHAH ALAM, 18 Mar: Jalan Simpang Tiga Ijok to Bestari Jaya, Kuala Selangor, where many fatal accidents and unsatisfactory conditions happen, will be completed the latest by the end of May.
The Ijok Assemblyman, Dr Idris Ahmad, said that the assurance is given personally by the Selangor Public Works Department (JKR).
“If we look at it now, a large part is ready, only a small part is remaining.
“However, we hope that security measures will be taken so that no untoward incident happens,” he told Selangor Kini.
Previously, the intersection was often associated as an area where fatal accidents happen, taking the lives of road users.
On February 27, a motorcyclist, Norashikin Paiman, was killed after her vehicle fell into a hole on the way to Bestari Jaya from Bukit Badong.
