SHAH ALAM, 27 Jan: Selangor football fans have been asked to give time to the new leadership of the Football Association of Selangor (FAS) to prove their capability in ensuring the excellence of the team.
The FAS Deputy President, Datuk Mokhtar Ahmad, said to achieve success, it certainly takes time and it cannot be created immediately.
“Give the FAS leadership to prove their abilities. Plans are underway and are being implemented. Success takes time.
“Now with the changes brought about by the FAS, including eight new faces to be on the executive council, there will certainly be changes,” he said, taken from Sinar Harian.
Mokhtar also explained that the new FAS executive committee will stand firmly behind the President, Mohamed Azmin Ali, to ensure excellence and success in the future.
“We believe that the President indeed is concerned about the development of the state’s football and believes that plans have been prepared and will be implemented in the near future,” he said.
