Selangor cancels Selangor Festival 2015, Jom Heboh

SHAH ALAM, 26 Dec: The Selangor government today decided to cancel all entertainment events and the Selangor Festival 2015 as a sign of sympathy for the people of Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Perak who are threatened by floods.

The Chief Minister of Selangor, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that the Selangor government Exco during an emergency meeting also ordered the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) to cancel the Jom Heboh programme organised by TV3 at I-City, Shah Alam.

“The State Government Executive Council also decided to cancel all entertainment events and the Selangor Festival 2015 as a sign of love and sympathy to people suffering from the floods and to save the Selangor State Government’s expenditure.

“The Selangor government has ordered MBSA to cancel the Jom Heboh programme organised by TV3 which was scheduled to take place on 27 and 28 December 2014 at I-City in Shah Alam on the same principles,” he said during a media conference at the Selangor Chief Minister’s Office this morning.
