KUALA LUMPUR, 17 Dec: The development of Datum Jelatek in Taman Keramat is believed to give huge returns to various parties, including local residents, following the high demand for the project.
The project carried out by the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) through DatumCorp International Sdn Bhd (DatumCorp) is expected to boost real estate value in the surrounding area of the development at a high rate exceeding 50 percent.
The Chief Operations Officer, Shytul Shahryn Shaari, said that the progress on the development is going on well with positive feedback received from various parties.
He said that with residential, commercial, retail and office component facilities provided, it will catalyse economic growth in the area.
“With the increase, the real estate value is projected to increase in near and surrounding areas at a high rate.
“For single-storey terrace houses in Jalan Enggang, the value is expected to increase between RM800,000 and RM1 million,” he said.
He said that the local community has also given good response about the development through meetings and briefing sessions which he has successfully carried out.
“We have received encouraging response from the residents. This proves that the project has received support,” he said.
