Another victim, ohd Ahukor Melia, 40, said that the second incident is very worrying to the residents of the apartment.

“I was with my family and neighbours who were ordered to move after being informed of the dangerous situation. This incident was worse than the one before,” he said.

Shukor did not expect the landslide to be this bad with the land movement very evident.

He moved to the temporary evacuation centre after receiving orders from the authorities and the Joint Management Body (JMB) of the apartment.

Shukor, a private technician, has been living there for over seven years and is one of the earliest residents of the apartment.

“The cash assistance given by the state government helps us a little although we are still shocked by the incident,” he said.
