SHAH ALAM, 5 Oct: Claims that Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim wants to vacate the Port Klang Assembly seat is not true.
The Special Officer to the Port Klang Assemblyman, Faekah Husin, said that her employer had never expressed a desire to resign.
“Tan Sri never expressed a desire to resign,” she said via an SMS text message to Selangor Kini.
The Speaker of the Selangor State Assembly, Hannah Yeoh, also denied receiving a notice of resignation.
“I did not hear anything. I also did not receive any notice,” she said.
Their reaction was obtained in response to rumours that the former Chief Minister wants to step down as the Assemblyman for Port Klang and the Member of Parliament for Bandar Tun Razak.
