Analyst: CM is professional, does not mix party duties with government

SHAH ALAM, 12 July: The Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, is an example of a leader that is professional because he does not mix party duties with that of being Chief Minister.

The National Unity Council (NCC) Cluster Head, Prof Dr Mansor Mohd Noor, said that Abdul Khalid shows true political maturity in governing Selangor, despite receiving various political and personal attacks recently.

“He (Khalid) is a leader that knows what to do and he works for the people. He has resolved many issues and problems involving the people, including the water issue.

“He knows his duties as a leader and he does not politicise the people’s lives,” he said, quoted from Sinar Harian Online today.

Commenting on the presence of Abdul Khalid alongside the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, at an Iftar feast last Thursday, he said that it is a smart move which should be emulated by all leaders.

“A leader who is responsible will manage the country well without fighting among themselves when it involves the issues of the people,” he said.
