Abdul Khalid Positive in Facing Political ‘Bureaucracy’

SHAH ALAM, 26 Jan: Despite being pressed by various challenging issues recently, the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, is still positive by regarding the issues a common behaviour in the political environment.

He said that the process is considered common and is also faced by political leaders in other countries such as Thailand, France and the United States.

He said that the political arena is a game field for every leader, even more so if the person is not well versed in the field.

“Politics is a process where they will promote themselves to be known, and this is what is happening.

“So, I consider this another political situation which is encouraging, not only in Malaysia, but in other countries,” he said when met after inaugurating the road safety campaign here at the Shah Alam Stadium today.

Abdul Khalid has been facing various issues since the beginning of the month, starting from the seizing of Bibles by the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) in Petaling Jaya, followed by the decision to acquire the water services and also about the Giat Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) Centre in Selayang.

Apart from that, he issue involving the Vice President of PKR, Azmin Ali, in the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) issue has also raised polemics by the mass media.
