SHAH ALAM, 2 Sept: Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB) and its subsidiary companies presented their Business Zakat for 2)13 amounting to RM756,593.40 to the Selangor Zakat Board at the Selangor Zakat Building in Shah Alam.
The Zakat presentation ceremony was carried out by the Chief Religious Officer of Perangsang Selangor, Zaharudin Muhammad to the Chairman of the Selangor Islamic Religious Council, Dato’ Setia Haji Mohamad Adzib Mohd Isa.
“The Business Zakat payment is a responsibility based on the al-Quran and the Sunnah.
“Zakat is also one of the ways KDEB and its subsidiary companies clean our business income according to the teachings of Islam.
“Hopefully, our business will be more advanced and blessed by Allah,” said Zaharuddin in a press statement.
Also present to witness the handing over of the Zakat were representatives of KDEB subsidiary companies, Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali (Perangsang Selangor), Ahmad Ilmi Jasman (Kosortium ABASS Sdn. Bhd), Edi Zuhri Abd Rahim (Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Berhad) and Fe Jazzareen Mor Japar Khan (Central Spectrum (M) Sdn. Bhd).
