SHAH ALAM, 18 Nov: The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) welcomes and fully supports the initiatives of the Selangor government in introducing the Dana Sel Scheme to provide the opportunity to urban settlers to own their own homes.
The PKNS General Manager, Azlan Md Alifiah, said that PKNS, as the agency responsible for housing development in the state, will provide their best commitment in realising the dreams of the Selangor government.
“We welcome this new measure introduced by the government in helping the people of Selangor, especially in the ownership of affordable housing.
“PKNS has been placed responsible in providing homes that are affordable to the people and we are committed to becoming a housing developer to the people,” he told Selangor Kini.
The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, previously said that the initiative will be provided in the form of loans to those who failed to obtain bank approval to buy the affordable homes offered.
He said that the Dana Sel Scheme mechanism will be officially announced during the tabling of the Selangor Budget 2015 on November 24.
