SHAH ALAM, 25 Sept: Popular preacher Azhar Idrus has chosen the University of Selangor (UNISEL) as the institution for his son to continue his studies because he is confident with the quality of learning and courses provided.
Azhar said that he did not hesitate to allow his son to further his studies at the Selangor state government-owned educational institution due to UNISEL’s strengthening reputation.
“The list of programmes that are available at UNISEL is good, in addition, we should support the state government.
“UNISEL is not only an ordinary private institution of higher learning, but a large university in terms of facilities and so on,” he said.
Azhar’s presence at the Shah Alam campus when enrolling his son in the accounts foundation programme attracted the attention of students who crowded to greet and take pictures with him.
Earlier, the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that UNISEL has the potential to be listed in the best university ranking in the world if given continued encouragement and commitment to academic freedom.
