Jet already has a meeting room, why RM28 million more in upgrades?

KUALA LUMPUR, 18 May: The decision of the Federal Government to spend RM28 million to set up a meeting room in the cabin of the private jet used by the prime Minister is unacceptable.

The Pandan Member of Parliament, Mohd Rafizi Ramli (PKR), said that this is because the private jet involved already has a fully equipped and comfortable meeting room.

“I cannot accept the excuse of upgrades for a meeting room because prior to this, there is already a table and chairs equipped to hold meetings on the jet.

“I also want to see how the RM28 million cabin looks like,” said Mohd Rafizi during a press conference at the Parliament House lobby today.

Mohd Rafizi said that the RM28 million of public funds spent is a wastage at a time where the people are struggling with the rising cost of living.
