Kg Delek Primary Religious School PTA Receives Contribution of RM40,000

KLANG, 28 JAN: The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Sekolah Rendah Agama (Primary Religious School) Kampung Delek was overjoyed to receive a contribution of RM40,000 from the Selangor State Government.

The contribution was presented by the Selangor Education, Higher Education and Human Capital Development Exco, Dr Halimah Ali at the Selat Klang district level 1424H/2013 Maulidur Rasul (Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday) celebrations at Nurul Amin Mosque, Kampung Delek.

According to the President of the school PTA, Abd Rahman Saari, the contribution is very meaningful to the teachers and students of the school.

“With this donation, we are able to improve the school facilities and directly help to improve the quality of student learning,” said Abdul Rahman.

Meanwhile, according to the Kampung Delek Religious Primary School Principal, Noraini Kasiman, the school, that consists of five blocks, has 1,350 students.

“There are 37 classes, therefore we have two sessions, morning and evening, with a total staff of 41 people.

“To accommodate the student population, (the school incurs) a large sum for various school needs, therefore, thank you very much to the State Government,” she said.
