SHAH ALAM, 19 Feb: The Selangor government will loosen the conditions for affordable home ownership by allowing single people aged 25 and above to buy Selangorku Homes.
The Selangor government Exco for Housing, Building Management and Urban Living, Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad, said that the new requirement aims to provide opportunities to more people in the state to own Selangorku Homes.
“The rules now only allow those who are unmarried to buy the houses if they are 40 years of age and above,” he said in a press statement today.
He said that the Selangorku Homes project are homes that developers are required to build priced between RM42,000 to RM250,000.
Therefore, he urged this group to grab at the opportunity to own their own homes offered by the Selangor government.
