The PPAS Director, Mastura Muhamad, said that the total number of memberships also increased to 56,317 compared to 46,816 in 2013, which proves that the trend of reading in the community is increasingly positive.

She said that library activities received good response from users and Selangor managed to record the highest number of visitors compared to public libraries in other states.
