Selangor welcomes on-going efforts by the private education sector

SHAH ALAM, 13 Nov: The state government is working hard to ensure that the private education sector fully participated in extra-curricular programmes such as government schools, said the Exco for Education, Human Capital Development, Science Technology & Innovation, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.

He said this during a special visit to the Al-Amin Education Centre Berhad (PPAAB) in Gombak on November 11.

“PPAAB has been growing since its inception in 1986, including an increase in the number of students and the facilities available here are also in line with national education standards.

“So, the state government will continue to provide support to the private education sector in line with the recognition of the choice of parents who want their children to receive the best education,” he said.

The visit began at 10 am and was welcomed by the Al-Amin Education Centre Director, Shaharom Md Shariff, board of directors and teachers of PPAAB.

The visit began with a presentation by the Director of PPAAB on the school centres throughout Malaysia, especially in Selangor.

The visit continued with a visit around the school area to look at the infrastructural facilities available at PPAAB to identify shortcomings and urgent needs before assistance is given.

PPAAB is a private education centre that emphasises on education based on religion and academic.
