“I do not intend to withdraw because the allocation was given, but my advice to them that this allocation also uses for the people, not just for their own sake only.

“This RM200,000 is for the people in their constituencies but the oppositions ADN took it only for personal reason and office facilities whereas we prepared the allocations for the people, they deliberately did not take it and this should not happen,” he said when winding up the State Budget 2017 at the Selangor State Assembly.

Answering the question from Sharum Mohd Sharif (Dengkil – BN) regarding the allocation of RM700,000 supplied to the Government  ADN , Mohamed Azmin said that the Dengkil assemblyman should understand the principles of fairness before questioning.

He said the allocation for the Assemblymen’s office management is RM6,000 and RM200,000 for the assemblymen to use in their respective area were given equally to each government and non-government assemblyman.

“Dengkil got RM200,000, same goes to Sekinchan while the remaining RM500,000 are managed by the Assemblymen Coordinator.

“This is a good start, Dengkil should take it because even our own Parliament does not enjoy the benefits,” he said.

Starting from 2015, the State Government approved a RM200,000 to each non-governmental assemblymen or RM2.6 million for 13 assemblymen in Selangor to be used for the purpose of improving the basic infrastructure and public facilities as well running a people-friendly activities in their respective constituencies.
