JP-ABAS satisfied with Yayasan Selangor’s proactive steps

KUALA LUMPUR, SEP 14: The Select Committee on Agencies, Statutory Bodies and State Government’s Subsidiaries (JP-ABAS) is satisfied with Yayasan Selangor’s proactive steps taken to bring the foundation to the right track.

Its Chairman, Saari Sungib said, among its initial success under the leadership of Senior Manager, Zahura Zakry was reducing its deficit from RM18 million in 2015 to RM9 million in 2016.

He said they achieved that although new projects are still pending Board of Trustees’ approval.

“We hope to achieve more success in the future and the existing team is retained.

“We will submit recommendations and hope that the general manager’s appointment process is done fast. I see that they are very motivated,” he said.

He said that to SelangorKini after listening to Yayasan Selangor’s briefing to JP-ABAS at the Yayasan Selangor Building, Bukit Bintang, yesterday.

At the same time, Saari said, he will review the documents on the appointment of a general manager to be tabled in the next Selangor State Assembly session.

Also present were Batu Tiga Assemblyman, Rodziah Ismail; Dengkil Assemblyman, Shahrum Mohd Sharif; Damansara Utama Assemblyman, Yeo Bee Yin and Kinrara Assemblyman, Ng Sze Han.
