Participants had to write at least five articles about activities participated in, where the best blog will be evaluated based on the writing.

Among the exciting activities held, participants were given the opportunity to interact and share ideas among themselves, in addition to carrying out outdoor activities such as paragliding and piloting a light aircraft.

The prize-giving was carried out by the Executive Councillor of Selangor Tourism, Elizabeth Wong, and was also attended by the General Manager of Tourism Selangor, Noorul Ashikin Mohd Din here at Damansara Perdana yesterday.

Elizabeth Wong said that the activity was good because it involved the generation, thus bringing them closer to the state of Selangor.

“The state government is actively holding programmes for the young people to bring the closer to Selangor and this programme organised by Tourism Selangor would sure attract the interest of this group.

“The younger generation follows developments of social media and activities such as this should be targeted at bloggers because it is more effective for them,” she said.

Meanwhile, Ashikin said that Tourism Selangor will continue this activity which is expected to draw the attention of not only people from within the state, but tourists.

“We will chronicle the activities during this programme to be shown to people outside Selangor about the attractions and why they should visit this state,” she said.
