‘The Colours of PJ’ Festival is back – more vibrant than ever

PETALING JAYA, AUG 25: The Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) is once again organising the Petaling Jaya Festival 2016, themed ‘The Colours of PJ’.

MBPJ Deputy Mayor Johary Anuar said the festival, which is in its 4th year, celebrates the goal of uniting city folks from all walks of life.

He said, MBPJ is confident that the festival will be able to promote the name of Petaling Jaya internationally.

“The Seksyen 52 City Centre has once again become the fixed location for the festival, which is aligned with MPBJ’s aim to make the city centre more vibrant through various programmes and social activities; subsequently upholding the implementation of PJ Liveable City @ Seksyen 52 Project.”

“Various activities have been planned for PJ Fair 2016. The most anticipated activity being every visitor will have a chance to be in a ‘Wefie’ picture with the Mayor, which will be recorded as the Wefie with the most people in the Malaysia Book of Records,” he said during a press conference, on August 24.
