BY: NORHAYATI UMOR SHAH ALAM, AUG 5: The Klang Municipal Council (MPK) is having a campaign to reduce traffic fines and is urging the public to settle their fines for as low as RM15. The offer is valid until August 31, 2016. Fines included are for parking, obstacles and traffic. MPK Communications Director Norfiza Mahfiz said that the previous offer on fines reduction received encouraging response, with the public taking the opportunity to settle all their outstanding fines. “The campaign will also benefit those who have not paid their old fines, and motivate them to settle by the due date,” she said in a statement on August 5. Norfiza said that the public can also check their fines at the MPK Lobby, Tengku Kelana Branch Office and mobile counters; while payment can be made at any counters provided by the council. “Checking and payment can be done on Saturdays and Sundays at selected supermarkets, such as AEON Bukit Tinggi (August 27–28), Giant Hypermarket Bukit Tinggi (August 6–7) dan Tesco Bukit Tinggi (August 13–14),” he said....
