LZS received business tithe worth RM5.11 million

SHAH ALAM, 26 June: The Selangor Tithe Board (LZS) received business tithe worth RM5.11 million from 54 companies at the Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC).

Prolintas Expressway Sdn Bhd topped the list with RM815,000, followed by Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (RM726,720) and QSR (M) Holdings Sdn Bhd (RM642,627).

In addition, MTD Prime Sdn Bhd also issued tithes worth RM541,000, Advanced Air Traffic Systems (M) Sdn Bhd (RM520,061), KPJ Healthcare Berhad (RM343,223) and Kumpulan Rahman Brothers Sdn Bhd and Turnpike Synergy Sdn Bhd each with RM200,000.

At the same event, LZS also distributed tithes worth RM2.7 million to schools across the state involved in the Adopted School Programme (PROSA) under the maintenance of the Selangor Education Department.

The gift was to help the poor and needy recipients’ children in continuing learning at the school.

The ceremony was officiated by the Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS) Chairman, Datuk Mohamad Adzib Mohd Isa, and was also attended by the Selangor Mufti, Datuk Mohd Tamyes Abdul Wahid, and the LZS Chief Executive Officer, Husin Mohd Ali.
