Rodziah Challenges Zuraida for Central PKR Women’s Chief

SHAH ALAM, 28 Mar: The Selangor State Women Executive Councillor, Rodziah Ismail, announced that she will be contesting for the post of Central PKR Wanita Chief in the PKR 2014 election, thus challenging the incumbent, Zuraida Kamaruddin.

In a statement, Rodziah said that she believes that the Reformation Agenda can be implemented with her experience as a PKR leader and as part of the Pakatan Rakyat administration in Selangor.


The Central PKR Wanita Deputy Chief said that calls and confidence from members of Wanita and the grassroots for a change in the Wanita wing should be given focus.

“The change will provide freshness towards the implementation of the wing’s agenda in the future

“It is a call that cannot be ignored and I have come forward and be a leader that is wanted by the female members of PKR.


“In addition to collective-decision making, transparency and conformity based on the party’s guidelines and constitution.

“The call from the grassroots level is a trust that I will grip tightly and pray to be often reminded of me honestly and sincerely,” she said.
