Linked to business fraud, Rodziah lodges police report

SHAH ALAM, 27 May: The Executive Councillor in charge of Welfare and Women’s Affairs, Rodziah Ismail, lodged a police report at the Section 15 Police Station regarding misconduct in company that linked her to business fraud the Batu Tiga constituency.

Based on the police report, Rodziah said that the company involved, Yeop Heng Team Trading (SYHTT) was found to have used her name for transactions and offers made, including job opportunities and merchandise services.

She said that she only realised this matter when some of those dealing with the company lodged complaints at the Batu Tiga State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Service Centre.

“The company also cheated many people around the Batu Tiga DUN, especially those who did not receive promised wages, completed goods were not collected and kitchen goods ordered were not delivered.

“The conclusion is that many elements of fraud in their business need to be investigated and acted upon,” said the report published on her Twitter page.

Rodziah, who is also the Batu Tiga Assemblywoman, also informed that the company collects money from many people in the form of deposits by promising that they will receive returns in the form of low-priced goods or work wage.

In relation to that, she urged the police and the authorities to take action and conduct further investigation immediately on the company and individuals involved in the matter.

“Beware of companies that offer this programme because many have been taken in by their offers.

“I will sue whoever involves my name (after this),” she said.
