PKR continued to negotiate to resolve the DAP-PAS crisis

KUALA LUMPUR, 12 June: The negotiations to resolve the conflict between Pakatan Rakyat (PR) component parties, DAP and PAS, will be continued from time to time.

The PKR Vice President, Nurul Izzah Anwar, said that discussions will be conducted separately with the PKR President, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, to try and resolve the situation.

“Thank God talks will continue. The discussions will be done separately,” she said, taken from Sinar Harian.

The Lembah Pantai MP said that she does not intend to comment further on the issue to avoid misunderstandings.

However, she is optimistic that Pakatan still has a chance to step into Putrajaya in the 14th General Election (GE14).

On June 6, the 61st PAS Annual Congress passed the motion by the Central PAS Ulama Council without debate to severe ties with DAP following several statements by the party leaders against Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, especially on the Hudud issue.

However, the motion wants PAS to maintain political cooperation in Pakatan with PKR.
