SHAH ALAM, OCT 24: Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB) donated a total of RM87,609.45 to the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) recently.
According to the LZS official website, KDEB donated the zakat for its business for financial year ended 2015.
Zakat is also a way KDEB and its subsidiaries cleanse their business income according to Islamic teaching.
The cheque was presented by KDBE Chief Officer Zaharudin Muhammad to Majlis Agama Islam Selangor Chairman (MAIS) Dato’ Setia Mohamad Adzib Mohd Isa.
Also present were Chief Collector Division Mohd Sabirin Mohd Sarbin and Chief of Corporate Communications Division Norajun Ainun Mohd Hashim.
