SHAH ALAM, 11 Sept: The State Government is palling to implement the My Selangor is Free of Aedes mega programme to prevent the spread of dengue in the state.
The programme is being carried out by the State Health Committee, which is now being led by State Executive Councillor Dr Halimah Ali, and is expected to be held at the end of September.
It involves all Local Authorities across Selangor, the Local Youth Movers (PeBT), women’s organisations, related agencies and bodies, as well as the entire community.
The implementation of this programme is to create awareness in the community on the importance of prevention rather than cure.
It was reported that this programme will take place this Friday.
