Templer Park development adheres to guidelines

SELAYANG, 10 Apr: All development conducted at Templer Park, including in the highlands, received approval from the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) based on the gazetted Local Plan (LP).

The Deputy Yang Dipertua of MPS, Juhari Ahmad, said that it will be ascertained that any development carried out in the area complies with the zones under the LP of the local authority involved.

He said that as of now, there are three projects being carried out in the area.

“Any project, especially involving the highlands, needs to be taken to the Environmental Sensitivity Committee which is chaired by the Selangor State Urban Planning Director before being approved.

“All guidelines (before construction) takes into account technical compliance and so on,” he told Selangor Kini.

Commenting on the development at Perangsang Golf Club, which previously received objections from residents, Juhari said that the project will continue because it complies with the procedures set by the Town and Country Planning Act 1976.

“Yes, we will continue with it despite objections because there are no problems with the project.

“It will be developed by SP Setia anytime because the approval has been given to them,” he said.
