She said that the existing Selangor government is still functioning as usual despite various speculations regarding Abdul Khalid’s position.

“We leave it to the Central PAS to make a decision, but the existing Selangor government is still functioning normally, there may be a little storm in the teacup, but it is normal.

“Central PAS has called the Selangor Liaison Body to hear the explanation on this matter and they are in the process of a decision,” she said when commenting on PAS’ stand regarding the highest leadership position in the state.

Abdul Khalid’s position as Chief Minister is now under pressure from certain quarters when there was an open call for the Assemblyman of Port Klang to step down from his position.

However, this was denied by Abdul Khalid and he said that he also took pictures with several leaders from various parties, including the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, who is also the Chairman of Barisan Nasional (BN).
