SHAH ALAM, 29 JUNE: Majority of the Selangor residents has shown support for Chief Minister, Abdul Khalid Ibrahim to stay on as the top person to manage the administration of the state.
Many Selangor residents have voiced out on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter that Abdul Khalid shall stay as Chief Minister because his excellent track record is proven by him leading the administration.
Besides that, many residents from other states has also shown support for Abdul Khalid to stay as Chief Minister as he is well known to be a people’s orientated leader, and has assisted many from the lower income group.
Saiden Mannat Mohd Nasir, said the improvement in the quality of life and the developments of the state is due to Abdul Khalid leadership as Chief Minister.
“With Tan Sri Khalid as Chief Minister, Selangor is definitely moving ahead. Let us all compare with the developments of Selangor and not his weaknesses in politics.
For Nina Karina, she is of the opinion that Abdul Khalid is a leader that deserves the position.
“He is the best candidate for Chief Minister. I do not understand why some parties would like to replace him.
“If we make a mistake in selecting a successor, it could cause bigger problems in Selangor,” she said.
Another user, Zokry Daud said Abdul Khalid has the reputation of a clean and honest leader, thus with these qualities it will help in the battle against corruption.
“Tan Sri has done a great job managing the state, with plenty of developments. Honest and free of corruption. The state’s reserve has also accumulated year after year.
Ahmad Zulkifli thinks, if there is a need for change, all parties shall recognize the efforts of Abdul Khalid as a great leader.
“He is one of the best, great individuals normally do not last so we should always remember his contributions to the state.” he said.
