SHAH ALAM, AUG 22: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has once again received a visit from Japanese students through the Tokoname City Student’s International Exchange Conference Association Program.

Corporate Communications and Public Relations Head Shahrin Ahmad said that eight students from Tokoname were involved in the tour this year beginning from August 15 to 19.

“They were given a briefing and explanation regarding the development of Shah Alam as a progressing city.

“This included activities, functions and MBSA services as well as exciting tourist attractions,” he said to SelangorKini.

The group of students were chaperoned by two teachers from Japan and three teachers from Sekolah Kebangsaan Seksyen 9, Shah Alam.

In 2015, MBSA received its first group of Tokoname students via the same program.

Shahrin said MBSA is always open to visits from any agency or department, local or foreign.

“We are prepared to share and exchange views and information regarding MBSA’s services.

“The same goes for improvements that have been implemented, such as 5S Practice and our creative and innovative group,” he said.
